The CB&Q used phase one models of the GE 44 ton switcher these had the smooth front and vents on the side. As a modeler we have the problem that no one does this version, they do the version with the

Yes, W&R did the 44 tonners that are correct for CB&Q. As I recall the difference was in the step/handrail placement. 9103 was the first GE 44 tonner. Am I getting old, or what? . PHASE 1-B. STYLE B.

Finding one would be a truly rare fine. Imported in 1986, W&R only did 42 of the Phase 1-B Style B and 47 of the Phase 1-B Style A units. All unpainted as most brass was at the time and were not road
