Yes, W&R did the 44 tonners that are correct for CB&Q.  As I recall the difference was in the step/handrail placement.  9103 was the first GE 44 tonner.  Am I getting old, or what?

The CB&Q used phase one models of the GE 44 ton switcher these had the smooth front and vents on the side. 
As a modeler we have the problem that no one does this version,  they do the version with the grill on the front.
On the Large Scale Central Matt Hutson is modifying a 1:29 model to a D&RG version with dual gauge couplers.
This is also a phase one.


I will be watching this for HO ideas.
