- Jim, In 1955 the shovelnose units were long gone from the DZ. They had been converted to "boosters" by this time and they were starting to scrap them. The DZ would most certainly be using the E-units

- Nelson, The DZ was running the 1936 sets until the new 1956 sets were built. That was a combination of articulated and non-articulated cars. Check out your Burlington Bulletin 50 for more information
