Hi John, My 1906 Official Guide shows Cameron, Mo., being served by both the CB&Q and the Rock Island. The RI is gone from the 1950 Guide. A 1923 Equipment Register which has a RI map shows a RI line

Concerning the second depot at Cameron. It is former RI, on their original Chicago to Leavenworth main line. It was built as the Chicago & Southwestern through Cameron in May, 1871 and opened to Wash

The reply from Rick Morgan on this subject kinda ties in with what I'd forwarded in my note on the subject. The 1923 Equipment Register indicated freight interchange with the CB&Q at Cameron Jct. The

This agrees with what I understand. Cameron Jct was on the west end of town and is where the two roads interchanged. They ran parallel west about 1.7 miles where the RI turned SW and crossed the Q on
