This agrees with what I understand. Cameron Jct was on the west end of town
and is where the two roads interchanged. They ran parallel west about 1.7
miles where the RI turned SW and crossed the Q on its way to Leavenworth (via
Plattsburgh, Grayson, Edgerton, Tracy and Beverly). The Burlington's line to
Kearney split off at about the same point. Rick
<< e reply from Rick Morgan on this subject kinda ties in with what I'd
forwarded in my note on the subject. The 1923 Equipment Register indicated
freight interchange with the CB&Q at Cameron Jct. The RI map showed Cameron
Jct as a distinct location from Cameron. Apparently Cameron Jct was within
the city limits of Cameron. Don smith >>
