The 454 in that particular book is a FW&D Class E-4A2 mike. If you look in the FW&D book by S.A. Goen there are several pictures of it. It looks to be pretty much a USRA spec engine with some resembl

You are looking at FW&D 454, a USRA heavy mike. In the late fifties, 454 had a moment of fame in Trains magazine, when it was borrowed by a neighboring dieselized road for service on flooded trackage
