- Malcolm, Try airbrushing Glosscote over the Silver instead of Dullcote. Then do the decals and finally spray with a Semi-Gloss to seal the decals. I use a 50/50 mixture of Floquil Flat Finish & Cryst

- How about using Testors' "old aluminum" silver with no Dullcote. It's a darker shade of silver and doesn't 'sheene' like silver does. I did a Q caboose with it and am quite happy with the results. -V

- I agree with Jim's choice here ... Metallizer Sealer is my 1st choice for a seal coat. In light coats it is effectifively transparent, that is doesn't alter color beneath it at all ... YMMV . Lyle Do
