Personally I use Polly S satin thinned to a consistency of skim milk with a medium tip and narrow spray pattern. Gives a nice semi-gloss and doesn't affect colrs at all. Just keep your brush clean. [

Not to beat a dead horse because I know this topic came up before BUT when finishing off a stainless car (I had to strip one due to lacquer yellowing) should clear coat before dry transferring or aft
