Could it been a conncetion with an eastern road. Peoria, IL has been used by many railroads to get around Chicago and save a day in transit times.(It is what keep TPW around for so many years) Will D

I was flipping thru one of my book and saw a image of a CB&Q oil fired Locomotive. How many of CB&Q steam was oil fired? I know that FWD all were oil and I have no Idea on C&S were. Thanks Will Irvin
