As I study the C&S/FWD passenger ops I am finding more
question. I ran across 8 Pullman sleepers own by C&S
and FW&D named:
Anaconda
Castle Range
Lariat Range
Maximillian
Spanish Crest
Wadena
Castle Crest
Lariat Crest
Spanish Range

I know that the were built in 1917-30, bought in 49
and Dism. in 67 and pulled out of pool service in
about 1962.

I found a resource that shows them on the Texas Zephyr
with the lightweight cars in the early 40's. Where
they normally in the TZ after the war? If not did
they have a normal train? Any info on them would
helpful on where they ran?

Will

(I have "the Colorado road with 2 pictures of it and
FWD book that has no reference but does look like
could be in some of trains in the book. I know there
is on picture of them in Michael Spoor's Passenger
Color book.)
