[CBQ] Burlington Meet Registrations

BRHS Members have begun receiving the registration forms for the Annual Meet in the â??Heart of the CB&Q,â?? Burlington Iowa.

 

The online registration is also active and ready for use on the Meetings page at https://www.BurlingtonRoute.org.

 

We have lined up a great weekend that includes a Thursday evening welcome at the Hampton Inn at the Great River Casino Resort.  The Friday trip and Saturday activities in convention center are open to anyone interested in the history of the Burlington Route and its relationship with its namesake city.

 

Friday, enjoy a day-long motor coach tour of several SE Iowaâ??s CB&Q depots with a box lunch and trolley rides at the Old Thresherâ??s grounds in Mt. Pleasant followed by an open house of the Burlington Model Railroad Engineer's Society Layout, near Gladstone, Ill.

 

Saturday begins with the BRHSâ??s Annual business Meeting (for BRHS Members only).  The swap meet is open to vendors. Tables are $20.00 each with a minimum meet fare of $10. There will be a lunch buffet followed by four informative clinics, details are in the attached PDF. There will be a happy hour followed by a banquet, awards presentations, and keynote speaker, Terry Abrisz.
