I am writing an article for the BRHS Burlington Bulletin magazine on the shadow lining of passenger cars. I understand that at least Katy's PA1 #152A and sleeper Kimbell received this shadow-lining treatment and I was wondering how many other Katy cars were also painted in this style.

I tried to send an email to the address shown on the to the Katy Historical Society's website khrsinfo@katyrailroad.org to ask the question but it bounced back.

 

Just before your email arrived, I received one from Daryl Mundis who is a member of the Katy Society so I have asked him to assist me. If he gets stuck, I’ll get back to you.
