I agree, if you spoon feed Rapido everything they need, they will produce a good model.

I sent them a mountain of photos and my original decal artwork for the recent Rock Island bicentennial E8 “Independence” and they were very happy to have it.

A black striped E8 or E7 is very possible if enough of you demand it (I’m a red striped E8 or guy so…) and get them the proper information.

I’ve been waiting for Q bi-levels too. As I understand it, there are no ‘original’ condition Q cars in existence. They’re having a hard time figuring out the original under frame equipment configuration. If you have diagrams or photos - send them in to Rapido!

BTW, not my era, but I am all over that “Train of Tomorrow”!!!

I'd also like to see the black nose versions, hopefully on the next runs.   As a Rapido retailer, I can say they do listen to the customers and the E units sell well, so additional runs may be in the planning stages.    Interesting to see them doing the Train of Tomorrow.   I also play with O scale and have the Golden Gate Depot set in UP colors.   It may not be Q, and most folks know how I love my Q dome cars, but it's nice to see it get some attention.
