I agree with Louis as to the location being the Western Avenue engine facility in Chicago. P-1-C #1592 only had this number for its first 5 years; 1899 - 1904, then was re-numbered 2501 but remained a compound until 1914 when it was "simplified" and re-classified, P-1. The British-style 3-axle tender was later changed to the more typical, two 4-wheeled trucks under the original tender. All 5 P-1, 4-4-2's (2500 - 2504) were retired in January, 1933. This info from Corbin +Kerka's "Steam Locomotives of the Burlington Route".
