Mark:
Thanks for pointing this out. Hopefully you will find this attachment much better. Unfortunately it has a revision date of 5/11/61 which is also later than 1940. The copy that you looked at from the Archives is from 1959.
I do have some notes on Cody which may or may not take you back closer to 1940. The end of the track is shown at MP 42.70. The original end of track in 1901 was 287 feet farther west, at MP 42.753 (which was original MP 130.153 from Toluca). I do not have
a date for when the track was shortened up.
Cody evidently also had a loop track. Beyond the beginning of the east leg of the wye, there is another switch from the east leg heading in a northwesterly direction and crossing the west leg of the wye and ending north of the depot. According to some notes,
this was the loop track, and at one time it must have curved around and rejoined the mainline west of the depot at the switch at MP 42.48. I don't have any information on when the loop was shortened up.
Jack, I have copied you because you may want to replace the sheet in the Archives with the one from my set. If so, I can send you my original or a straightened copy, just let me know.

Subject: [CBQ] Cody WY Alignment Chart
Hello all!
I'm looking for a clear alignment chart for Cody Wyoming from the mid-1940's. The division chart on the BRHS website isn't dated; nor is it clear (much of the track diagram is faint, and many notations are unclear / unreadable).
Anybody know where I can find a chart of the Cody area?
Thanks in advance!
Mark P.
