Hi Tom and group.  The Galesburg Railroad Museum has numerous blueprints of the buildings and facilities of the old yard.  I had a partial list here in my files and found a listing for the roundhouse extension for stalls 9 to 13 dated 3-11-1928.  My short list also has a plan for the diesel washer from 6-13-1950.  There are many others stored in tubes and many folded flat in Filing cabinet drawers and most of the lists of these items are at the museum.  I will try to get down there Monday or Tuesday and see what we have to offer.  Bud Linroth.

And the more I look at the so-so plan diagram that I have and photos on the web, including photos in the BRHS members site, the easier it seems that this structure could now be done using 3D printing. For example, it appears that the main concrete structure of the tower could be made from just five or six major printed sections - dome and top house, main round coal bunker, coal chute base structure, support columns structure, angled concrete hoistway, etc. But before I take on such a task, has anyone else been working on this or considered it as a project?
