Hi Bill---thanks for responding. I was surprised to learn that someone actually has the kit. I'm toying with adding a foundry to the new layout (based on Aurora) and wondered whether the Muir kit is feasible for the alloted space. I found a photo of the boxtop since posting the question. The model looks sprawling and I have my doubts whether it would fit. The dimensions were not on the box top so it is hard to tell. The photo did not show how incoming loads of coke, sand and brass (ingots?) were incorporated into the structure or whether there are doors for receiving or shipping materials and finished products. Muir Models goes back to the earlier days of "crafstman" structures. With a lot of those kits, you had to draw window and door dimensions on the basswood and cut the openings. Getting too old for that. So I am at the inquiring stage, not the buying stage, at least not yet, and I don't want to put you to the trouble of searching for digging out the kit from your stash. Perhaps someone posted the instructions on line, which should answer my questions.
