Thread-topic: | [CBQ] C&S Hoppers |
The problem with the HT-10C is that they were built in 1960, so they were delivered in Chinese Red. The HT-10 and HT-10A were built in 1953 or before, so they are of more interest to transition era modelers. You have to know your market. However, at least in my book, Chinese Red paint dates the equipment to the latter days. I run steam so you wouldn't see anything Chinese Red behind some FW&D or C&S steam (with a few notable exceptions). They're nice cars and if modeled later years I'd snag a few but not this time. > On 07/21/2024 3:27 PM CDT Jerry Michels <gjmichels53@gmail.com> wrote: > > > Hi Folks, > This may be taken several different ways, but I assure you I am simply > searching for information. > Earlier this year the Amarillo Railroad Museum produced a Broadway Limited > C&S HT-10C hopper, the same as the Q Connection CB&Q HT-10 cars (same price > too).
