The only information that I can add is from my All time fan trip list. The trip was powered by 2-6-2 no. 2118. The train had 9 cars including heavyweight observation car no. 206. The route was Chicago - Streator - Zearing - Mendota - Denrock - Earlville - Chicago. Attached are two photos taken on that trip at Mendota. The photos are from the BRHS Flickr collection.

1941 Railroad Club of Chicago trip ? From: Leo PhillippDate: Sat, 15 Jul 2023 08:30:20 PDT Does anyone have details of the June 15,1941 fan trip which originated in Chicago and then travelled over all the following;Fox River(Montgomery-Streator) branch, the IV&N(Streator-Zearing),to Denrock and back to Chicago. Not sure in which order.
