Thanks, Hol, for posting the pictures of the C&S hoppers. 

But I still can't tell if those underframes are black or just red in dark shadows. So do we know if black is correct for the BLI cars? Has anyone reached out to BLI to see if they confirmed the black underframe for the 70-ton 3-bays in either photos or a painting diagram? 

I have a bunch of Accurail and Stewart cars which are pretty decent. I would consider the nicer BLI's but want to make sure the black underframe is correct.
