Hi Tom,
Funny you should ask about this Union Station Product. I just ordered one of the ex-C&NW coaches along with one of their Bi-level Gallery cars along with the core kits just this morning. I am presently modifying and detailing an old Con-Cor slumbercoach using some of their small fluting sheets for the skirting. Once I get started on the coach & gallery, I will let you know how it goes. But that may be a month or so off yet.  I plan on scratchbuilding my own interior with for the coach, and not sure what I will do with the Gallery car as yet. It may take a while to build the Gallery car, but it sure is more in my price range then the Rapido ones.

Has anyone had any experience using the Union Station Products #7485-R CNW PS Smooth Side 56 Seat Coach kit to create one of the ex-C&NW CB&Q coaches? It looks like it could be a pretty straightforward kit and with the cars being painted a regular silver paint, not too hard of a paint and decal job.

If someone has done one of these, I'd like to know what you used as a core and interior and how hard it was.
