Q had several RPO's running to KC but did not have the long distance mail contract. Express was as needed for local traffic.
Q did have the Chi to Council Bluffs mail contract where they turned it over to the UP

I'm normally not a CB&Q modeler.  But, I model Kansas City Union Station and I'm trying to get some information as to whether the Q had mail trains like the ATSF going into KCUS.  The KCUS timetable for 1956 doesn't show mail trains for the Q like it does for the Santa Fe.

My question is, did the Burlington have mail trains thst carried REA and Express cars to KCUS during the 1950s?  And, if so what did their consists look like.

Thanks,

Tom Bailey
