According to the 1970 ORER, the C&S had a group of 65ft gons with drop ends, 21000-21069, AAR type GB, 3’ 6” inside height. There are a number of other photos in the C&S Freight Car album in the BRHS Flickr collection.

Hi,
Af few years back I bought in my ignorance an Athearn 65’ gon lettered for the Q only to discover later that the Q did not roster 20 panel gondolas as opposed to the C&S. But photos of these - so far I have seen - only show fixed ends. Did C&S also have cars with drop-ends and - if yes - in what number series? Any information out there?
