[CBQ] Upcoming Presentation on the History of Railroads in Burlington,Iowa

BRHS Director and editor Dave Lotz will be giving a presentation on the 
history of railroads in Burlington, Iowa on Saturday September 24th. Since the 
C.B.&Q. had the largest presence in Burlington the bulk of the presentation 
will be on the Burlington railroad and its predecessors. Topics covered will be 
operations, facilities including the shops, yard, roundhouses, depots, and the 
Mississippi River bridges.

The location will be the Des Moines County Historical Society Heritage Museum, 
501 North 4th St., Burlington, Iowa. Presentation starts at 1:00 p.m. and is 
scheduled for one hour.
