Alas, the ACF Covered Hopper is HO. InterMountain, Bowser and Kato all made decent versions in HO.
However, the Kato N Scale ACF Covered Hopper is a close match to the same car but was only offered in one CB&Q Scheme (large BURLINGTON in red on a gray car) in both the original release of two 2 car sets and as part of a eight car set of ATSF, CB&Q, C&O and UP. The CB&Q car numbers for the mixed road eight car set appear to be the same as two of the original 4 offered so the cars might just be reboxed old stock.
The cars can be repainted and decaled for any of the CB&Q, C&S and FW&D schemes. The only problem with the cars are the snap-on truck which precludes using any other truck or coupler arrangement without some work.
There is a hole in the mounting pin which can be used as a guide to drill out the snap-on post with to the size of a Micro-Trains truck pin hole. Then any desired truck and coupler can be installed if you don’t care for the Katos.
The original cars came with the auto-disassembling coupler but I think the set cars come with the later magnetic types which were better.

Jerry, what scale are the hoppers? I'm guessing HO. I model N scale so hoping that my guess is wrong, so that I can buy one...
