Paul,
I just looked at all 7 pages of your layout and how it progressed. WOW, you did a fantastic job on it. I'm very impressed with your work and love the passenger depot. I assume it was custom built.
It would make a great club layout and living in the Dallas area I am sure there are a lot of individuals that would be more than happy to help finish it and work the layout with you.
I have a small layout in my garage (no basements in San Jose!) but joined a local club. Our layout is a very large modular layout that we set up for shows. So other than running trains in circles for the visitors, it's really not that interesting for me. The
modules are very well detailed and the guys/gals are really some great folks, it not the same as having a stationary layout, with switch lists, etc.
I hope that you get back to modeling, as your photos and work show that you have the talent to do excellent work.
RAY
PS Thanks for sharing the link to your layout.

There is a blog-post about my N-scale Burlington C&I Sub on the Railwire.net:

Although my layout still exists, I seem to have lost interest in doing anything
more with it, or even running trains.
Regards,
Paul
