While working on the Seacrest Collection at the LSRM this morning, I came across this photo and wanted to share it here. Perhaps Pete Hedgepeth can fill in some more details. CB&Q F3AB Nos. 127AB and another F-unit AB set meet passenger train 15-42 and Salem, Nebraska, on February 24, 1962. This was the last southbound run of Train 15-42, a Lincoln-Kansas City local. The Q's one-of-a-kind pendulum car, Silver Pendulum, brings up the markers on 15-42.
