Lines west had a standard for a two story 20’x40’ “saltbox” depot. Surviving examples are Danbury, NE, Fleming, CO, and Grover, CO.

One reason for the wide variety in design of wood depots is the number of railroads the Q acquired, each haveing their own deisgns.

Yes, the Q did have a few “standard” depot plans.  I’ve attached a pdf from a Q depot diagram book scanned by BRHS member Tim Fleck of the only “standard” plans in the 372-page book.
