Looks like the subject has changed with standard plans.  Other rumors we have heard about Oakland Mills include (1) the only part of the shelter left is the roof and (2) the whole store/restaurant building is setting on railroad ties.  They will find out when things come apart.  Since this structure was built before the Burlington took over, it may not be a Burlington structure.  Doug's idea of using the board and battens to scale it is very good.  We will eventually know the length when the roof is measured.  I am turning all information and advice over to a fellow board member who is in contact with the owner.  I will let you know about anything we find and any progress.

My regret when I took a photo of the Donnelly depot on April 9, 1992 is that I only took one shot.  I wasn't carrying a black and white camera with me at the time and probably would have had a dozen detail shots.  If you see it, shoot it because it may not be there tomorrow.
