[CBQ] UPDATE: CB&Q station photos of Palmyra MO or NE - THANKS

    Hi All:
    I want to thank everyone for the knowledge you have shared with me
    about Palmyra MO and NE. 
    I have updated the BRHS Photo Library's records with the correct
    photos for each of these locations plus I have 'borrowed' a lot of
    the info you folks included in your emails and added it to the photo
    and station's description area. I wish I could have include some of
    those nice maps, but not today. 
    You can check it out by visiting the BRHS web site => Members
      Only section and doing a Photo Search or a Station Search for
    Palmyra. Free free to make any additions or corrections to my poor
    writing.

    While working on this I discovered that I had another FSAC station
    book (1953) that was not on-line, and so I have corrected that.
    There now there are 5 different station books dating from 1938 to
    1968 for your use. 
    If anyone has earlier copies of station books and would be willing
    to lend them to me, I will scan them into a PDF file and add them to
    this resource.

    Your comments or suggestions are always welcomed. Reminder that the
    photo library and the station data page are open to all members to
    directly add provenance to them. This will enrich the photos and
    station data and others may share in your knowledge.

I am in need to know where these photos were taken so that I am correctly capture the information for them into the BRHS Photo Library's database.

I am linking the station photos in the BRHS Flickr collection to the BRHS Photo "search database". This means that when members run searches for photos of Q railroad stations it will return not only the photos in the BRHS Photo Library but also the photos in the BRHS Flickr Photo collection. The BRHS Photo search engine only links to the photos in the Flickr files. Below is an example. This search returned information from the BRHS Photo database regarding this photo and the image is 'imported' on the fly from the Flickr Albums system. The photo is not stored on the BRHS Photo server. The public photo searches will not include these Flickr photos, only the Members Only site will.


How am I doing?  Great! 372 photos linked, only 32,628 photo to go.
