The Atlantic and Danville book does not shed any light on business but it could be

Tobacco,  Cotton goods,  Import material off the docks in Norfolk, or paper and or Peanut products.

I've seen a couple of pictures lately of Atlantic & Danville 40' boxcars on the Q in the mid to late 60's, either in a yard track or on a train.  Just wondering if these might have been in a routine service (versus dedicated) or if they found their way to the Q for the grain rush.
