Yes....
UP had cabooses marked with a “P” specifically (I think) for the run through trains. I remember seeing UP crummies at Brookfield. I presume that the Q waycars likewise were seen on the UP.
I don’t recall seeing EL or other run through partner cabooses.
Reminds me of the Clyde Yardmaster (?) who used to block transfer run engines from getting to their caboose so they had to run home without it. We had a thread about this some time ago....maybe one of you has the particulars. I do recall seeing a number of foreign hacks at the Cicero end of the yard from the inbound dinky when I was commuting.
