The aerial images on Google earth show that it was still partially in place in March of 2013. The April 2014 image shows only a ghost of it. That should give you an idea of when they removed it.
As Jack suggested the museum should be a good resource.
Does anyone know what happened to the turntable at Oberlin, KS? Recent aerial map views seem to show a hole where it once was. I've attempted several local inquiries, but they either don't know or don't answer. The 100-foot Rock Island table in my long ago hometown of Goodland, KS was scrapped in the last five years under Genesee & Wyoming's scorched-earth policies.
