[CBQ] Minneapolis/St. Paul to St. Louis via the Beardstown Division

Hello all,

I’m doing some research on interchanges between the MoPac and other St. Louis-area railroads. I’m curious as to what level of interchange traffic (if any) may have been handed off between the Q and the MoPac (or other southwest bound RRs-the Katy, Frisco, Cotton Belt, etc) at St. Louis to/from the Twin Cities area. The Zephyr Rocket went via the Hannibal division and then took Rock Island tracks to St. Paul so I’m sure some freight went that route as well, but how much stayed on-line to go northward on the Q? Was this an exchange of any significance? Did the CB&Q have any other exchanges with the MoPac? Appreciate any and all info, thank you!
