Yes, I've looked at "Burlington Route" and "Burlington West" without any 
success. I just hoped that someone might have a copy or at least some more 
details.

In the BRHS Flickr collection are a number of photos of cigar boxes bearing the 
herald, but I don't know if these are genuine CB&Q boxes or infringing copies.

Like Jeff, the case rings a bell to me.too. I recall reading about it several 
years ago. It might have been in an old Yahoo group thread. 1920's seems like 
the time period. Did you happen to check Overton's publications?
