These types of cases were fairly common during that time period. The Q case rings a bell, but can’t recall details. There was a similar case of a glove company using the Rock Island herald in the late 1920s.

I have been researching an article for the BRHS on the Burlington Route herald, its history, use and abuse, and intellectual property infringements. I understand that there was a court case in the early part of the 20th century regarding
the unauthorised use of the herald on a cigar box and I would like to learn more about it but I have been unable to find any reference to it. Is anyone able to identify where or when case was heard, or any other details?
