Charlie -

I can't speak about the contents of Jim Seacrest's collection, but Stout Auctions list several past auctions of his collection.  This begins in May of 2017, and there are a couple of others later.  I may have missed the first one.  But they've been over for a while.

While on the subject of O Scale CB&Q equipment….

…..has any of the Burlington Junior outside 3rd rail equipment ever surfaced?

I remember visiting the layout that was in the basement of a funeral home in Cicero.  The owner was a Model Railroader and his daughter married a CB&Q Mechanical Department guy who would get him drawings for new equipment before it was in service.

He had a really nice scratchbuilt Aeolus and other equipment of varying quality….all the stuff was made from flattened tin cans.

He had some Pomona Valley EA/EB and E5 units that would not be out of place on a layout today.

I wonder if some of the equipment made it into the Seacrest collection….and, speaking of that, has his collection started to be sold off?

Tom:

Corbin custom built locomotives for probably a dozen different people over the years, and after his death his layout and all the rolling stock on it were sold to a man who himself has since passed away.  The locomotives turn up on auction sites pretty regularly.

I wonder how this gentleman acquired such a model, as it was my understanding that upon Bernie's passing, most of his collection disappeared.
