Based on this photo from one of the demonstrations in Michigan, the plan was
to use a movable lift at each station. It looks like the interior railings were
removed on the refurbished cars to facilitate this. I've used these mobile
lifts to load railroad passenger cars and it isn't a quick process. I can't
imagine how difficult it would be for schedule keeping if they would need to be
used.
