Hello,

Some of you may have seen my post on Facebook from a few days ago about this. I am writing an article about the complete history of the CB&Q steam fan trips of the 1950s and 1960s. It is my intention to eventually have it published in The Trackside Photographer, an online railroad magazine for all to enjoy.

I am looking for stories from people who got to ride, chase, or work on the fan trips to use in a section of the article. If anyone has a story they would like to share, a paragraph (5-10 sentences) explaining your experience would be wonderful and greatly appreciated.

I am also in need of photographs to use, especially from the trips in Colorado from the late 1950s. Any contributors will be credited in any way they wish.

Thanks,

Thomas Dyrek
