Greg, following Dave's lead I went to my copy of the Burlington Bulletins CD. Burlington Bulletin Number 32 (March April '67) says "the first of at least 13 Customer Service Vans went into service in February on the branchline serving Joy and New Windsor in Illinois". Related to this subject, I have been looking for an HO scale van in order to model the Q's Customer Service Office. So far the closet I have found is the American Walk-in Van from Atlas. Unfortunately, this model is out of production. It is not exact for the Grumman body but fairly close.
