Greg, There are articles about the vans in the CB&Q Bulletins on the BRHS’s CD. Nos. 31 & 32. Dave From: CBQ@groups.io <CBQ@groups.io> On Behalf Of Greg Sent: Tuesday, January 26, 2021 12:00 PM To: CBQ@groups.io Subject: Re: [CBQ] Customer Service Van ID Does anyone know the background on this Grumman van? Where was it stationed what specifically it was used for, etc. Rick, Sam & Michael, Thanks! If you scroll through the photos on Rick’s link, you’ll see the Grumman “builder’s” plate. Dave I found a 1967 Chevy step van that is similar.
It may well be a Chevy or GMC chassis, but the van body is a Grumman. The elongated oval windows in the A-pillar were a Grumman feature. I believe this body style was used in the 1963-1966 time frame. Does anyone on the list know the manufacturer of this Q Customer Service Van? Dave Lotz
