Richard:

I'm sorry to say I don't have a clue what a boomer track is. Sounds like it might be a question for Pete Hedgpeth.

As for your inquiry about plans for a C&S 50,000-gal. water tank, I have a big (24x36-inch) redrawing of an early 1900s C&S standard tank, and I'll try to get it scanned at Kinko's and send a copy to you.

Things have been chaotic around here since Penny's 90-year-old mother fell in mid-December, was hospitalized, came home on hospice, died on Jan. 2 and was interred yesterday. Starting to get back to normal now.

I've looking through some C&S bulletins, and have run across statements like this one from 1937: "Boomer tracks at Kluvers and Farmers, Colorado, cannot be used." My question is this: what is (or was) a boomer track?
