Actually, the Galesburg Railroad Museum building was built to resemble the first Galesburg depot. It burned down and was replaced by another wood depot in 1884.  It lasted until 1911 when it also burned down.  It was replaced by a brick depot which lasted until 1983 when the BN demolished it.
