Received my 2021 calendar in yesterday's mail. Outstanding job as usual!
I noticed something that was somewhat confusing at first. The caption for July states the date of the photo as September 1964. Further in the caption it states that this unit was traded to GE in March 1963. Had to consult a diesel roster! Apparently they were still on the property for 18 months until the 'Q" took delivery of the U25B's.
I guess GE locomotives weren't "built in a day" or "just sold off the lot". Still, had to have gotten EMD's attention a the time.
