Louis, I looked at the 0-8-0s on Flickr, and while trying to guess color from black and white photos is iffy at best, some of the photos suggest a lighter roof
color than the rest of the engine. None of the roofs are shiny like some of the rest of the paint. The color photo of 543 has a hint of oxide under the soot and grime. It’s too bad there aren’t more color shots as the 0-8-0s ran into the mid 1950s, and Kodachrome
predates that several years. Does anyone have paint and lettering diagrams for Q steamers? Surely somebody in this group saw some 0-8-0s in action back in the day.

Ray - Go to the Flickr Page. Under "CB&Q Railroad," click on Albums. Then, in the second row, click on 0-8-0 Steam Locomotives. The 0-8-0's are shown by road number.
Scroll down to find the color images of the 543 and 545.
This should answer your questions about the Flickr Page. The 25,000-plus images are a part of the BRHS. Subject matter is divided into Albums. You'll need a basic
understanding of the Burlington Route to find your way around - Louis
