Here is another view of Galesburg with the CZ being pulled by what appears to be 3 Funits which would make the photo either 1949 or 1950. The lead F unit is sticking out just beyond the end of the canopy, leaving probably a 10 car consist. The baggage car would have to be accessible from the platform, and probably the observation, and maybe one additional car would not be accessible from the platform. That leaves about 7 to 8 cars ?? that would use the platforms. 

Its a guess, however. Note that the canopy nearest the station appears to be longer than the one used by the CZ.
