When I first acquired this postcard, the dates and schedules confused me, as I interpreted the red stamp as commemorating the early record-setting run of the Zephyr from Denver to Chicago in 1934.

It was only when I recently found reference on the internet to the Advance Denver Zephyr (using the Pioneer Zephyr and Mark Twain Zephyr) that the various dates and markings clicked.

The Wikipedia article on "Pioneer Zephyr" includes photographs on a similar version of the postcard (without the Kansas City - Lincoln schedule), and various examples of a similar red stamp for "commemorative postal covers".
