Just added to the BRHS Company Store - a 16 page history of the Red Oak, IA depot as told by the "depot" itself. This interesting story gives a great view of the life of a small town depot in "any town USA" in the first half of the 20th century. It
also includes several photographs of the area and diagrams of the depot.
This publication, along with other short articles such as "I'm a Burlington Man",
"The Kansas City Cutoff" and "The 1936 Denver Zephyr advertising brochure" can be found in the "Other" section of the BRHS Company Store (http://www.burlingtonroute.org/store/index.php?category=other&button=Submit).
None of these items are more than $3 - combine any or all for the same shipping cost.
The BRHS Company Store IS filling and shipping orders during the "shelter in place" period. Our goal is still to get items shipped within a week. Lots of interesting reading is available at the BRHS Company Store.
