Hi Ricky,

I looked through my 1970 CB&Q and BN public timetables and 1970 Official Guide, and it's a bit confusing. The April, 1970 Official Guide shows BN as using Kansas City Union Station for its trains from Chicago and Omaha. However BN timetables from both 4/26/70 and 10/25/70 show the Kansas City stop as being 153 West 14th Ave. in North Kansas City. Thinking this was a BN thing, I checked my CB&Q timetable of January 18, 1970 and it shows its Kansas City station as being at 153 West 14th Ave. so it must have been a CB&Q change.

My understanding is the KC to Omaha trains were renumbered in 1968.  I also read that BN trains did not go all the way to KCUS but stopped in North Kansas City.  Did the Q stop going to KCUS before the merger?
