Bill,
Who imported the R-5 2-6-2? As I recall, Oriental announced it but it was never built.. You forgot the M-2 2-10-2 as done by both Overland and Challenger.

Peter,
Advise me on best kit to buy and create for me CB&Q Hudson Type S4 4-6-4 CB&Q #3003 (or #3001 or #3009.
The Atlantic and gas-electric will require custom building, but at least two companies imported very nice CB&Q S4 Hudsons. I believe they were Challenger, Nickel Plate and/or Oriental Limited. I have two of them in HO and two in O Scale. There have also been models of Q 4-8-4s, 2-10-4s, O1a 2-8-2s, S1a 4-6-2s, R5 2-6-2s, K2 4-6-0s, 0-8-0s and 0-6-0s produced in HO as well as some of the early Shovel nose Zephyrs which would be in your timeframe. Since Monmouth is on Q’s Chicago - Denver mainline, all of these Q locomotives would have run through Monmouth at one time or another, some on a daily basis. EBay, might be the best place to look for some of these models if you are interested.
